Learn the magic of the chainstitch, and embroider a sweater or stocking for a special handmade gift this holiday season.
Coolest thing? This skill goes far beyond name sweaters. Have a stocking? Embroider it. Sweatshirt? That too. Tote bag? Sure, why not.
What's included?
- Sweater (newborn-kids) or stocking
- Variety of yarn to pick from for your embroidery
- Extra pointy yarn needle for you to take home
- Printed name to adhere to your sweater
- 2 hours of instruction
The rundown
- We'll start with some embroidery stitch basics – running backstitch, chainstitch, flower embroidery and so much more!
- From there you'll learn the magic of sticky solvy, and we'll line-up our designs. Choose your favorite yarn(s).
- Stitch away! We'll spend the last part of the evening adding our name to our little sweaters.
You'll be a pro before you know it! And even if this new hobby doesn't offer you the solace you need from these dark winter nights, you'll have had yourself a night out with great beer, good friends, and lots of laughs!
